Detail●"Mameitagin" was a silver coin circulated during the Edo period (1601-1865).

This Ansei Mameitagin was the last type of Mameitagin and only minted for 6 years (1859-1865). For such short period of mintage, not a lot still existing today.

Double-sided Daikoku in this era were usually minted around 3-8 grams, and it is extremely rare if it over 10 grams.
When the Mameitagin sized over 10g normally refers to “Large Type” and it is differently a high rarity coin that attract many collectors!!
